Disclosure Text
This report is intended to be used only as a general guide in order to provide our clients with current condition of the home's and/or building's main sewer line. The report expresses the opinion of the inspector, based upon visual impressions of the conditions that existed at the time of the inspection only. The inspection report should not be construed as a compliance inspection of any governmental or non-governmental codes or regulations. The report is not intended to be a warranty or guarantee of the present or future adequacy or performance of the sewer line. LVSI certifies that our inspectors have no interest, present or contemplated, in the listed property or its improvement. Additionally, LVSI has no involvement with trade professionals or benefits derived from any sales, repairs, replacements, modifications or improvements from inspected sewer lines. All repairs should be done by a competent licensed Plumber and any work requiring building permits should be obtained by the authority having jurisdiction (Local Building Department). It is the client's sole responsibility to read this report in its entirety, not rely upon any verbal comments and to research any and all jurisdictional permits required by the local authorities regarding the property inspected.
Scope of Inspection
A sewer inspection scan was requested of the main drain line from the structure to the city, private sewer connection, 150 feet or camera limitations (whichever comes first). The sewer line is to be accessed through a cleanout, roof vent (single story only) or other access point(s) to be determined best by the inspector. The camera inspection does not inspect all of the drain lines running under or within the structure. The following is a summative report of the findings.
Point of Reference
Statements made within this inspection report pertaining to left, right, front or rear were referenced by standing in front of and facing the structure from the street. Additionally, analogue clockface references may be utilized to pinpoint conditions found within the pipe; in this case the 12 o'clock position will be the topmost center of the pipe, the 6 o'clock position will be the bottom most center of the pipe and so on.
Statement of Service
LV Sewer Inspections was retained for a survey of the listed structure's main sewer line in an effort to identify any areas of suspect blockages, deficiencies or damage and to document the areas for further review and or action by associated trades professional. Further investigations into these areas or destructive testing may reveal additional conditions that were not readily visible at the time of inspection. This report is based on information obtained at the site at the given date and time of the inspection. This report is for the exclusive use of our client and is not intended for any other purpose. The report is based on the information available to us at the time as described in the report. Should additional information become available at a later date, we reserve the right to determine the impact, if any, the new information may have on our discovery and recommendations and to revise our opinions and conclusions if necessary and warranted. We recommend all areas we locate in this report showing anomalies should be evaluated further to find out the cause and be repaired. Our recommendations are not intended as criticisms of the structure, but rather as professional opinions regarding conditions that we observed at the time of our inspection.
